Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that Elsevier Publishing Company has
launched a new book series entitled 

                 Philosophy and Foundations of Physics

The aim of the new book series is to publish original works in the field
of philosophy and conceptual foundations of physics, with a focus on
modern (20th and 21st century) physics. Works of a historical character will
also be considered for publication, provided they have philosophical and/or
foundational significance. The field on which the book series will
concentrate is thus similar to that of the Elsevier journal "Studies in
History and Philosophy of Modern Physics".
