The dutiful wave-particle duality

In the blackbody cavity light is not radiated continuously from the
walls but rather like bullets from a gun. Quantum theory would be
impossible otherwise. Outside the blackbody cavity however light
should not move like bullets - there the radiation should be
continuous. If "bullets" could still be found outside the cavity,
horrible things might happen to other theories. First, aether
problems would all become irrelevant - bullets need no aether.
Second, Michelson-Morley experiment would confirm the "bullet"
interpretation but would not be able to say anything about the
constancy or variability of the speed of light. Finally, in the
absence of Michelson-Morley support, the postulate of constancy of
speed of light would look quite silly and scientists might fearlessly
highlight the numerous contraditions to which it leads.
