Postdoc announcement

LARSIM laboratory (CEA-Saclay campus near Paris) seeks to hire a postdoc
in the foundations of physics. LARSIM is uniquely located next to the
CEA research labs working in theoretical and condensed matter physics as
well as astrophysics and cosmology. Using the opportunity to interact
with working physicists, the postdoc will develop original research in
one or more of the following areas:

- Foundations of quantum theory. Conceptual problems in quantum field
theory.
- Conceptual foundations of statistical physics.
- Foundations of space-time physics and contemporary cosmology.

The contract is for 1 year and will start in Spring 2009. Exact dates
are subject to negotiation.

Candidates must have research experience in the foundations of physics.
Fluency in French, although not mandatory, will be appreciated.

15, 2008.
