CfP: Metaphysics of Quantum Mechanics conference, Oxford, 2-3 October 2014.

The Metaphysics of Quantum Mechanics conference will take place at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, in conjunction with the new Metaphysics of Entanglement Project. In addition to the talks already scheduled, submissions are invited from postgraduate students who would like to give a poster presentation. Submissions should address metaphysical issues around quantum mechanics, broadly construed, and students of physics and of philosophy are equally welcome. Posters should be self-contained, but there will be an opportunity to present a brief introduction to the work in a scheduled session.

Support: At this stage we cannot commit to covering all of the costs for presenters, but can offer waiving of the conference fees, lunches, and a £50 contribution towards travel expenses. More funding may become available.

Submission: Please send a 500 word abstract to <quantum at philosophy.ox.ac.uk<mailto:quantum at philosophy.ox.ac.uk>> by Monday 25th August. Decisions will be communicated by Friday 29th August.

For any queries, please email Anna Marmodoro <anna.marmodoro at philosophy.ox.ac.uk<mailto:anna.marmodoro at philosophy.ox.ac.uk>>
