*Covid-19 Update*

There is understandably a great deal of concern about the spread of the
Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please be assured that we are monitoring the
situation very closely. The health and safety of the Summer School's
attendees is our utmost priority. We are regularly following the
development of the disease and we will follow the guidelines and
instructions of state institutions.

At present, there are no plans to postpone or cancel the XXIV Summer
School- we will however continue to monitor the situation and act
accordingly in taking preventive measures to ensure the health and safety
for all School participants.

In case the epidemiological situation were to make having the school in
person impossible, the event will still take place, but online, free of
charge for all participants. This decision will be taken at most by the 7th
of April, when notifications of acceptance to the school will be sent out
to accepted participants. Given the experience of this past year in
organizing online events, we can assure all prospective participants that
the school, even if not in person, will still provide an optimal
environment both for learning and for socializing.

We hope to see you in June, whether in Urbino or online!

For additional information about the spread of COVID-19, please see the World
Health Organization’s Situation Reports.
