<span style="font-family: Aptos, Aptos_EmbeddedFont, Aptos_MSFontService, Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: black;">Stanley Milgram’s “obedience experiments” are among the most famous studies in social psychology, and perhaps, in all the
human sciences. While the experiments have always been controversial, lately, more than 60 years after they were conducted, their place in the history of psychology has been the object of pointed questions. In her provocative book on the Milgram experiments,
Gina Perry goes so far as to suggest that they “might not be good science.” This talk rebuts Perry’s central objections and shows that Milgram’s legacy still endures.</span></div>
