2-YEAR TEACHING POSITION IN PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE
Salary: £25,134-£32,796 pa limit of tenure applies*

We are seeking make an appointment to a 2-year teaching position in the 
philosophy of science.

The successful candidate will have submitted a PhD before taking up the 
post and will be expected to contribute fully to the lecturing, 
supervising, examination and administration of courses for both 
undergraduate and graduate students in the Department. The position will 
start on or before 1 October 2008, and will be supported by a 9-month 
probation period.

Applicants who have recently applied for either the University Lecturer in 
the field of Philosophy of Science or the two-year Philosophy and/or 
Sociology of Science and Technology (teaching associate) post we have 
advertised, may ask the Administrator to bring forward their applications 
for consideration for this position and therefore do not need to reapply.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the Department on 23 April 2008
