The Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method at London School of
Economics offers a one year MSc programme in Philosophy of Science taught by
internationally leading faculty. The Department stands for a type of
philosophy of science that is continuous with the actual practice of the
sciences, resolutely interdisciplinary, and socially relevant. Philosophy at
LSE is ranked joint 2nd in the world for Philosophy of Science by the
Philosophical Gourmet Report 2009. This master programme prepares you for
Ph.D. work in philosophy or related disciplines as well as for employment in
the non-academic sector. Students also benefit from a wealth of resources at
LSE such as the LSE Centre for Philosophy of Natural and Social Sciences,
which is one of the major international centres of the discipline and which
attracts many eminent visitors from around the globe. For details, including
financial assistance, click the Webpage of the programme.
