[MaFLa] FISP hírek és felhívás

Kedves Kollégák!

Az alábbiakban szeretném felhívni a figyelmüket a FISP, a Nemzetközi
Filozófiai Szövetség levelére, kiemelni a Magyar Filozófiai Társaság
tagsága és valamennyi érintett számára aktuális információkat, illetve
felhívásokat (alább az eredeti levél).

A levélben a FISP elnöke, William McBride az Athénban, 2013. augusztusában
megrendezendő WORLD PHILOSOPHY CONGRESS programjára hívja fel a figyelmet.
Egyúttal hansúlyosan utal arra, hogy a tagszervezeteknek lehetőségük van
önálló kezdeményezessel is ülést szervezni, 2012. december 1-ig várják a
javaslatokat, terveket benyújtani. Természetesen egyéni előadók
jelentkezését is várják.

A következő fontos és aktuális felhívás: a FISP NEWSLETTER számára kérnek
beszámolókat a tagszervezetektől. Javaslom, hogy az elmúlt félév két fontos
eseményéről adjunk számot.

Manfred Frank látogatása kiemelkedő fontosságú esemény volt. Úgy vélem,
helyénvaló lenne, ha az MFT szervezésében tett látogatásról Weisz János
elnök úr fogalmazna meg egy összefoglaló beszámolót a FISP hírlevele
számára.

A másik fontos esemény Charles Taylor látogatása volt az ELTE-n, ha jól
tudom, Olay Csaba szervezésében. Ezért javaslom, és kérném Olay Csabát egy
rövid beszámoló megírására.

Természetesen egyéb programok és a szekciók munkája is figyelmet
érdemelnek. Laczkó Sándorral egyeztetve javaslom, hogy az MFT Titkárságáról
küldjük el a Magyarországra vonatkozó összesített anyagot, tehát a
beszámolókat és híreket. Amennyiben lehetséges, valamennyi említett
beszámolót angol nyelven kérem. Amennyiben magyar nyelven érkeznek az
anyagok, kérésre szívesen lefordítom.

Az elnök urat, korábbi kérése alapján az elmúlt másfél évben folyamatosan
tájékoztattam a magyarországi úgynevezett „filozófus-ügy“ fejleményeiről,
legutóbb a Nemzetközi Filozófia Olimpia (IPO) alkalmával Oslóban
személyesen is volt alkalmam pár szót váltani William McBride úrral.

Javaslom a 2012. szeptember 7-én esedékes MFT Elnökségi ülésen a FISP levél
tartalmát, az esetleges tennivalókkal együtt megvitatni.

További két hír:
Szeretném ismételten felhívni a figyelmet a Horvát Filozófiai Társaság
által, Cres szigetén megrendezendő hagyományos őszi konferenciára, amelynek
a körlevelét korábban elküldtem.

Végül Vilniusból érkezett egy konferencia-felhívás, a MAFLA-körlevélen
továbbítom.

Az együttműködés jegyében köszönöm a megtisztelő figyelmet, és kívánok

To All FISP Member Societies – À toutes les Sociétés Membres de la FISP :

First of all, let me inform you that planning for the Athens World
Congress, August 4-10, 2013, is well under way. The Plenary Sessions,
Symposia, and Endowed Lectures have been arranged and a number of Invited
Sessions and Round Tables have already been organized, as well. Individual
submissions have also begun to arrive. Several Member Societies have
submitted plans for sessions of their own, and, while the official deadline
for submission of these plans was June 1 of this year – i.e., last week –
we will continue to welcome them over the summer months and until December
1. The Second Circular, which will contain many details concerning the
Congress, is being prepared right now and will be available very soon.
Information concerning accommodations and excursions will then be posted on
the World Congress website, www.wcp2013.gr , soon thereafter.
I would like to urge all of you, in the strongest terms, to encourage your
members to come to Athens in summer 2013 and to come yourselves. This may
be the largest World Congress of Philosophy ever, but of course it is up to
all of us to make the necessary decisions that will bring about this result.

Secondly, I would like to call to your attention the fact that the
Newsletter for spring/summer 2012 has begun to take shape. It begins with
news concerning the International Philosophy Olympiad, which took place
last month in Oslo, and already contains news from some member societies.
The rest of you are cordially invited to send us (Emiliya Ivanova, Luca
Scarantino, and myself) your own news to add to it.

Third, soon after this message has been sent you will receive an invitation
from Secretary General Scarantino, as stipulated in the Statutes and
Bye-Laws, to  send him nominations for President and Steering Committee
members, to be voted upon at the General Assembly during the World
Congress. He will set a deadline for receiving these nominations. I
recommend that you consult the Statutes and Bye-Laws on the FISP website,
if you have not done so recently, in order to be certain about the rules
governing this procedure.

I wish you all a good summer, with greater material prosperity and more
intellectual harmony than have characterized the most recent months

D’abord, je veux vous faire savoir que l’organisation du Congrès Mondial
d’Athènes, du 4 au 10 août 2013, fait beaucoup de progrès. Les séances
plénières, les symposia, et les conférences parrainées se sont arrangés, et
un nombre considérable de séances par invitation et de tables rondes a été
déjà accepté. D’ailleurs, des soumisssions individuelles commencent à
arriver. Plusieurs sociétés membres ont soumis des propositions concernant
leurs propres séances, et, tandis que la date limite officielle pour la
soumission de telles propositions était le 1er juin de l’année actuelle –
en d’autres termes, la semaine dernière – nous allons continuer à les
accueillir pendant les mois d’été et jusqu’au 1er décembre. La Deuxième
Circulaire, qui contiendra beaucoup de détails à propos du Congrès, est
actuellement en train d’être préparée et sera accessible bientôt. Puis, peu
après, des renseignements concernant le logement et des excursions seront
annoncés sur le site web du Congrès, www.wcp2013.gr.
Je vous prie donc, dans une manière aussi forte que possible, d’inviter vos
membres à venir à Athènes en été 2013 et d’y venir vous-mêmes. Ce Congrès
pourrait être le plus grand que l’on a jamais eu, mais faire les décisions
nécessaires pour atteindre un tel résultat est évidemment la responsabilité
de nous tous.

Deuxièmement, je voudrais tirer votre attention sur le Bulletin du
printemps/été 2012, qui commence à se construire. Il commence avec les
nouvelles de l’Olympiade Philosophique Internationale qui a eu lieu à Oslo
au mois de mai, et il contient déjà des nouvelles de quelques sociétés
membres. Je vous invite très cordialement à nous envoyer (à Emiliya
Ivanova, Luca Scarantino, et moi-même) vos propres nouvelles à y ajouter.

Troisièmement, quelque temps après que vous aurez reçu ce message vous
recevrez une invitation de la part de notre Secrétaire Général, Luca
Scarantino, comme prévu dans nos statuts et règlements, à lui envoyer des
nominations pour la Présidence et pour les membres du Comité Directeur qui
seront élus par l’Assemblée Générale pendant le Congrès Mondial. Il
établira une date limite pour recevoir ces nominations. Je vous suggère une
lecture attentive de nos statuts et règlements, si vous ne les avez pas lus
récemment, afin d’être certains de ce que sont les règles qui gouvernent ce
processus.

Je vous souhaite un été agréable, avec plus de prospérité matérielle et
plus d’harmonie intellectuelle que ce qu’on a éprouvé ces derniers mois.
