A FISP, a Nemzetközi Filozófiai Társaságok Szövetsége az idén, 2013.
augusztus 4-10. között Athénban megrendezett XXIII. Filozófiai
Világkongresszusa alkalmával tisztújító közgyülést tartott.

Az újonnan megválasztott elnök: Prof. Dermot Moran, a  University College
of Dublin Filozófiai Intézetének professzora. A FISP fötitkára továbbra is
Luca Maria Scarantino.

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that, as a result of the vote taken by the
General Assembly of Fisp on Aug 9 in Athens, the new President of the
Federation is:

Professor Dermot Moran
School of Philosophy, University College of Dublin.

As you may recall, Professor Moran has served as Chair of the Programme
Committee, then of the Executive Committee, of the Athens World Congress.

A new Steering Committee has also been elected. You will find its
composition, along with the results of the election, in the attached
document.

At the first meeting of the Steering Committee, on August 10, the new Board
of Fisp has been appointed. It is now composed as follows:

President: Dermot Moran (Dublin)
Vice-Presidents: Tanella Boni (Abidjan), Ken-ichi Sasaki (Tokyo), Lourdes
Velazquez (Mexico)
Secretary-General: Luca Maria Scarantino (Milan)
Treasurer: Guido Kueng (Neuchâtel)
Past President: William L. McBride (West Lafayette)

President Moran will write you in the next few days.

The information concerning the new Bureau of Fisp will be uploaded as soon
