 ABSTRACT
  
  
 Everyone - or almost everyone - agrees that there is 'something it is like' to have sensations or perceptual experiences. These are the famous 'quaia'. But is there 'anything it is like' to think, understand, and, generally, to entertain propositional attitudes. The empiricist tradition is sceptical of this - including modern empiricists, such as Jesse Prinz. Others, like Galen Strawson and David Pitt, think there is 'cognitive phenomenology'. I agree with them, but it is not so clear how to characterize it.
