[MaFLa] MAP (Minorities and Philosophy) Welcome Event at CEU

The CEU Department of Philosophy and MAP (Minorities and Philosophy) initiative cordially invites you to their Welcome Event<http://philosophy.ceu.edu/events/2017-10-04/map-minorities-and-philosophy-welcome-event>,
with the special contribution of Dorothea Frede (Universität Hamburg),
  on 4th of October, from 18.30 at Nádor street 13. Room 203.
Professor Frede, who has held positions at institutions across both Europe and the US, is a Professor Emeritus working in the field of Ancient Philosophy. The welcome event will include an informal talk by Professor Frede, preceded by an introduction to the CEU MAP chapter, and followed by discussion. The event will give us the opportunity to discuss issues related to the participation of minorities (in particular women) in academic philosophy, including the obstacles minorities might face in their professional career.
