The main objective of the Campagna Conference “From Puzzles to New Insights in Fundamental Physics” is to thoroughly inspect puzzles and open questions in fundamental physics and to share and gain new insights into our understanding of the physical world. Foundational and conceptual aspects will be discussed in depth, including a critical assessment of guiding principles and mathematical frameworks for building fundamental theories. The present and future status of experiments aimed at testing fundamental physics from macro to micro scales will be examined, including current tensions and challenges, ranging from astrophysical and cosmological probes for gravitational and particle physics to table-top experiments for quantum gravity.
Registration<https://www.pifp2025.it/registration> is open only for PhD students and early postdocs. (Deadline 1 March) Priority will be given to those willing to present a poster. Due to capacity constraints, the total number of participants, including Invited Speakers and organizers, is limited to 65.
Campagna with its ancient origins, vast culture, and inspiring scientific history offers an ideal place where thinkers can gather, reflect and discuss Nature's most fundamental questions. The town has already shown its special atmosphere in the past by hosting two profound thinkers, scientists and philosophers: Giordano Bruno and Juan Caramuel.
