15th UK and European Meeting on the Foundations of Physics

29-31 March 2007

 

 

The 15th in this popular series of foundations of physics conferences
will take place at the University of Leeds from Thursday 29 March to
Saturday 31 March 2007. This annual series of meetings was initiated by
Euan Squires and Chris Dewdney in 1992, with the intention of promoting
discussion and exchanges of views between physicists, philosophers of
science, and others interested in conceptual issues in physics.

 

The 15th conference is jointly hosted by the Quantum Information Group
in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and by the Division of
History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Leeds.

 

In a departure from previous proceedings, submissions will be refereed
by the organising committee. Speakers are invited to submit a short
abstract of up to 500 words by 17 November 2006 to
foundphys at leeds.ac.uk; and will be informed of the results by 15
December 2006.

 

Travel bursaries will be available for graduate students.
