[PhilPhys] CFP: The Israeli Society for History & Philosophy of Science Eleventh Annual Conference

The Israeli Society for History & Philosophy of Science is pleased to
announce its eleventh annual conference, which will be held on March 6, 2011
at the Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem.

The conference constitutes a meeting site for scholars from different
fields, such as history, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, political
science, the natural and medical sciences, economics, and literature, who
are all engaged in studying different aspects of the theoretical and applied
sciences, medicine, and technology.

We welcome proposals for 20 minute long lectures in Hebrew or English, or 90
minute long panels, which may include three to four presentations, on all
aspects of science, medicine, and technology, both contemporary and
historical, including different aspects of sciences, technology, and
medicine in Israel. *Priority will be given to panel proposals.*

*Guidelines for submission*: Please send 250 to 400 word long abstracts.
Panel proposals should include a description of the panel, names and
institutional affiliations of the panellists, their emails and telephone
numbers, and a short abstract of each presentation. Please email the
submissions in MS Word file format to isrhps at gmail.com.

*The deadline for submission is **January 1, 2011**.*
